Imported billet offers undercut Saudi buyers' targets

沙特阿拉伯的方坯买家在开斋节假期后因预期价格下跌而推迟预订，本周开始收到价格较低的中国方坯报价。

After postponing bookings following the Eid holiday in anticipation of prices dropping, Saudi Arabian billet buyers have started to receive lower-priced ex-China billet offers this week.

买家预计价格将跌破470美元/吨 cfr（管卸货）。中国150毫米4sp（锰含量0.6%）方坯6月底和7月运往沙特西海岸港口的报价目前略低于465美元/吨cfr（管卸货）。

Buyers had expected values to fall below $470/tonne cfr (liner out). Ex-China 150mm 4sp (0.6% manganese) billet offers are now coming in at just under $465/t cfr (LO) for end-June and July shipment to Saudi west coast ports.

Kallanish（开阑商务信息咨询）获悉，原产于印尼的同规格材料6月底发货的报价为468美元/吨 cfr（管卸货）；然而，对于实盘出价，印尼供应商可能会在边际降价上做出妥协。这批货物为4.5万吨至5万吨。

Indonesia-origin same specification material was heard offered at $468/t cfr (LO) for end-June shipment; however, against firm bids, the Indonesian supplier may compromise on a marginal cut. The parcel consists of 45,000-50,000 tonnes on a fully loaded vessel, Kallanish notes.

Meanwhile, local 130mm 3sp billet prices in Dammam decreased to SAR 1,965-1,970/t ex-works, which equates to SAR 2,010/t delivered to Al Kharj. Rebar re-rollers in Riyadh and Al Kharj received offers from nearby suppliers at SAR 2,000-2,010/t delivered to their yard.

An east coast integrated mill finalised a deal with its sister company for a 30,000t parcel of 150mm 3sp billet at SAR 2,000/t delivered to Riyadh, equating to SAR 1,955-1,960/t ex-works.

Scrap dealers have reduced their supply as they struggled to collect receivables, which has led to a slight increase in scrap quotes.

在吉达，HMS 2废钢的交货价格为1,450-1,475沙特里亚尔/吨，优质废钢为1,500-1,525沙特里亚尔/吨；在利雅得和Al Kharj，HMS废钢为1,575-1,600沙特里亚尔/吨，碎废钢和优质废钢为1,600-1,625沙特里亚尔/吨。在达曼，HMS 2的报价为1,550-1,575沙特里亚尔/吨，碎废钢和优质废钢为1,600-1,625沙特里亚尔/吨。

In Jeddah, delivered scrap is at SAR 1,450-1,475/t for HMS 2 and SAR 1,500-1,525/t for premium, and in Riyadh and Al Kharj at SAR 1,575-1,600/t for HMS and SAR 1,600-1,625/t for shredded and premium. In Dammam, SAR 1,550-1,575/t is being quoted for HMS 2 and 1,600-1,625/t for shredded and prime.
