Kardemir promptly sells 68,500t of lower-priced billet

土耳其基准高炉钢厂Kardemir周五以较低的价格开始在国内销售方坯和盘条。

Turkey\'s benchmark blast furnace-based mill, Kardemir, opened domestic sales for billet and wire rod on Friday at lower prices.

Kallanish（开阑商务信息咨询）获悉，在2月13日降价之后，Kardemir将方坯出厂价再下调5美元/吨，150毫米S235JR级方坯为485美元/吨，B420级方坯为495美元/吨。这些价格不包括20%的增值税。

Kardemir decreased ex-works billet prices by $5/tonne to $485/t for 150mm S235JR grade and $495/t for B420 grade, from its previous reduction on 13 February, Kallanish notes. These values exclude 20% VAT.

The company maintained its prices for 5.5-56mm diameter wire rod at $560-600/t.

Kardemir为500吨以上的订单提供1%的现金支付折扣。

Kardemir offered a discount of 1% for orders over 500 tonnes in case of cash payment.

In addition to favourable prices, discounts and deferred payment options provided by the company attracted a lot of interest from the Turkish market, allowing Kardemir to close sales of 68,500t in half an hour.
